| Ich will eine Kirche finden. I’m sick of visiting different churches, hoping to find a place I like. Maybe I’m just too picky? But I want somewhere that I connect, that I am able to be blessed and to serve. This place is too big, this place there’s no one my age, this place this place this place…. Wanted: A church with families and young adults that is willing to have another member. Must be faithful to the Bible and have a solid doctrine. Also, the pastor must not be afraid to preach on the hard topics, and not simply stick to “Jesus loves everyone…” There needs to be a place to connect with other young adults, such as sunday school or small groups and a place for college age kids to serve, such as in the nursery. Now, is this so hard to find or am I just to flippin’ picky? | | |

| My camera decided to start accepting batteries again! So here's the winter wonderland I'm currently living in: (view from my window)
(the wicked sweet icicles outside my window)
I don't think I ever really realized it was possible to be SO cold! Yet it's so beautiful at the same time! It's never above 0C here, but it's so gorgeous! And Calvin is hard core, we don't cancel classes for anything. They canceled one evening, because the roads were horrible, and apparently it was the first time since the early 90's that they had canceled! yeah we're hard core. it was -17C here the other day. Translation: COLD. On another note, today is Valentine's Day. Never was the hugest fan of vday, but I don't hate it either. I got quite a few cards from family as well as some people here. So: H A P P P Y V A L E N T I N E ' S 2 0 0 8 ! (random photo: the flowers I got on my bday from the 'rents)

| I L O V E this place. SO MUCH. I miss all my friends a lot, but it's so good to see some of them here again. But I've really missed Europe. The atmosphere, the buildings, the normality. I'm home, and it's amazing. I am quite pleased with the suprise Ahram and I pulled off! Yes, secrets out. She's in Germany! She's staying with me, but when we went to pick her up, we went straight to the Bryan's to suprise them and it was AMAZING. You should have seen their expressions...then we went to Michele's, the Bateman's, Julia Wolter's, and Priscilla's. Good times. It's been crazy busy. Hard to balance between friends and family. I know, right, I'm weird. As soon as I leave, THEN i decide I want to be around home. Well....that's life I suppose.. But I'M HOME. and that's what I want to focus on now...who knows when I'll be back? | | |
